Wow, cool Kelly's on! I've never been able to catch her when she's posting.

Just wanna say hey Kelly!!! Wish I could say something more than that, but I seem to be tongue-tied at the moment.

hey back to you!!! thanks for commin in to chat...

Occasionally Kelly Monaco, "Sam" on General Hospital, stops by the Official Kelly Monaco Message Board to talk with fans. I never caught her when she was on, but today I did and she replied to me! There were so many people on the message board posting with her that the message board crashed. Luckily, I got one of the few replies that Kelly was able to answer out of the hundreds of posts piling on by the minute.

Rebecca Herbst of "General Hospital"

"Soaps In Depth gives a Gold Star to Rebecca Herbst and describes her talent in ways fans have been claiming for years!"
- Jen [The Canvas]

"Her subtle contrast in extremes makes Rebecca Herbst one of the most underrated actresses in daytime."
- Soaps In Depth

"Herbst has always been a steady, consistent force on GH. She has made Elizabeth the heroine who never says die, the good girl who trusts with her heart, a beacon of light in some otherwise dark lives. Herbst's every scene, every line, every look is authentic. A mere glance at her expressive face can make us smile or cry, feel comforted by her or afraid for her. In short, she never fails to deliver."
- Soaps In Depth

No one can break a heart into a million pieces like Rebecca Herbst!

I had to post about this because I was so happy that Rebecca Herbst was FINALLY getting the recognition she has deserved for over a decade! Rebecca Herbst is such an amazing actress that I sometimes can't find words to describe how sensational she is! I have always thought so -- even before she landed the role of Elizabeth Webber on General Hospital. I just knew that this girl was going to be incredible and she did not disappoint. In fact, she originally auditioned for the role of Sarah Webber. The writers were so disappointed that she didn't fit the role of the perfect, goody-two-shoes Sarah Webber, that they invented the character of Elizabeth Webber just to keep Rebecca Herbst on General Hospital!

I have watched General Hospital for several years now and out of all the characters, Elizabeth is one of my all-time favorites! I could talk endlessly about this character. Elizabeth is the bad girl turned good girl. She grew up rebellious and came to Port Charles as a force to be reckoned with. She had a support network of family and friends, and yet she still felt alone... always searching for her true self, never quite figuring out who that was. As the sister of the "perfect" Sarah Webber, Liz always resented everyone constantly praising Sarah for "being so wonderful... unlike Elizabeth." After her rape, she stopped being vindictive but never stopped feeling like she had to smile around everyone when she was crying inside. Then she met a man who made her feel alive and just let her be without having to pretend to be happy -- she just was. He changed her life and she saved his. Elizabeth learned how to be independent and began to feel like there's so much more to life.

Elizabeth is everything! She is the most real character on the show. She's a passionate artist and a motorcycle-riding junkie. She always lives her life on her terms. She's feisty and doesn't take any crap from anyone, so she gives as good as she gets. She's a survivor! Elizabeth is smart and so strong even though sometimes she doesn't think she is. She's caring and honest and loyal to a fault. She hasn't always been lucky in love, but that doesn't stop her from loving. The girl has gradually grown into a wonderful woman right before my eyes, which is why I relate to this character more than any character on television. After everything Elizabeth has been through in her life, she manages to rise above it every single time. That's what I admire about this character and it's all thanks to Rebecca Herbst for portraying her that way. She has made Elizabeth's character into what she is and I honestly can't imagine any other actress in the role!

It's Snowing!!!

I can't believe it! Yesterday I wished for snow, and here it is!!! It's so beautiful outside. I stuck my hand out of the window to touch some of the snow falling down. We bought a Christmas tree yesterday, so all that's left is to decorate it and I'll have the white Christmas I've wanted for over 3 years!

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
Just like the ones I used to know
Where the treetops glisten,
and children listen
To hear sleigh bells in the snow

I'm dreaming of a white Christmas
With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright
And may all your Christmases be white

Star

This morning at about 6:00, I saw the only star left in the sky before dawn. It was still visible on the dark blue side of the sky before fading to light blue. I decided to make a wish before it disappears, which is something I have not done since I was little. It made me realize how easy it is to lose the kid inside yourself when you live in a fast-paced city like New York. Everything becomes a blur and you never really have the time to stop and look at the sky or anything anymore. And before you know it, it could all be over.

Xmas

I want Christmas!!!

I haven't had a Xmas tree in 3 years now, so I'm definitely gonna get one this year! I miss having a real Christmas. I can't wait to decorate it with ornaments while listening to Christmas songs. I can't wait to watch all my favorite holiday movies while the snow is falling outside. I can't wait for Christmas.

Latest Music Video

Check out my latest General Hospital AR music video!

This is ONE story so please be sure to watch it in sequence:

This AR music video is also posted at The Canvas!

Please read:

I won't say what the video is about, cause you'll have to see for yourself. Basically it starts off from September 2003 onward. The video is a semi-AR because about 85-90% still follows the story as it happened on TV with several things that I manipulated to happen according to how I think it should have been told. It involves all those characters but the bottom line is Jason & Elizabeth.

In June '05, I got this idea of what could have happened on GH between Jason & Elizabeth (off-screen) and there was a discussion about it, but it only hit me a month later that I could make it happen by making a video of it.

I had planned on making one video, but as the ideas came rushing in... I needed more and more room and at the end, one story came out to be 4 videos long. It's just a continuation of the story but with a different song so if you do decide to watch it, please remember to watch it in sequence.

I've been working 4-5 months on this (little by little each day or whenever I'd find time) and I finally finished it. The reason it took so long was because of life, the fact that I didn't know what songs to use, and a HUGE shortage of clips that I needed to get the point across. Thankfully to so many GENEROUS people who helped me out with an enormous amount of clips, this video could have been made. I hope you enjoy it and comments are very welcome!
